Benefiting from an opportunity cruise under Project AQUIMAR (Marine Knowledge Supporting Aquaculture) coordinated by IH, sediment samples were collected in two areas in the west coast of Portugal: Figueira da Foz-Aveiro and Peniche. These samples will now be used under project HabWAVE for mapping dinoflagellate cysts. The cruise started March 20 and ended March 29, 2019, with the participation of HabWAVE team: Ana Amorim (FCUL), and Marili Viitak and Elisabet Cruz (Aveiro University).
